Combat Core Strength
Yes it is. With dumbells your arms are independant. So when one gives in a little the other one can;t compensate like it does with a straight bar.

Combat Core Strength
Dumbells are much better, it does more to the chest that’s why it’s hard and requires more control. The bench press is a lot easier, I could do 185 15 times but on dumbells I have trouble doing 80’s like 10 times.

Firm & Flatten Your Abs
Yup, try doing leg press with one leg then two. You really understand how much harder it is with one leg than with two. I know you asked about arms but its basically the same thing.

Firm & Flatten Your Abs
It may appear harder due to the way you do it. Because you most likely have each arm angled outwards and have less leverage. So it seems that you are weaker but your just using different muscles. For example your using more arm strength individually with the dumb bells than using you pectorals(chest) with the bar.
