Jacob W asked:
Ive been lifting for about 6 months and just over the last week or two whenever I bench press or do dips both of my collar bones start hurting. Is it a problem with my form or might it be something else?

i feel the dips one too, but i have never felt the bench press one, i tried adjusting my form on the dips and it didn’t seem to change anything
my guess it’s just more weight than your bones can handle, i always try to be careful if something hurts too much

An Ultra-brief & Ultra-intense Workout
Building larger muscles creates nodules on your bones to form called enthesophytes at muscle insertion areas – this can lead to enthesopathies – which is inflammation of the muscle insertion area. Likely causing the pain. You will only make it worse and may be developing boney spurs which, if cause enough pain may have to be ground down later on. Doctor may be able to give you anti-inflammatory drugs. But you have probably reached you limit for weight lifting. Lay off the exercises that cause pain for a while and then maybe go back to it to see if it continues to hurt.
